Flower Girl Dresses - this is typically a young girl (or several) who is dressed in a darling little dress emphasizing her youth. This dress does not match the Bride or the Brides Maids' dresses. Junior Brides Maid Dresses
- this is an older girl (or several) - perhaps age 10 or older
- who does not belong in a mature Brides Maid's dress but at the same time is too old to be a little flower girl. She definitely does NOT want to wear a "baby" dress any more and will likely rebel! For these girls we recommend dresses from the Pre-Teen & Tweens and the Jr. Brides Maids Dresses departments. The coordinating tips offered (above) will still be very useful.

Miniature (Jr.) Bride
Dresses - this is a very young child who is dressed like a bride. There is only one miniature bride in a wedding. This
practise
goes
back
to ancient
times
when
a child
was
dressed
as a
bride
and
sent
down
the
aisle
before
the
Bride
to attract
evil
spirits
so they
could
not
curse
the
marriage.
